This Privacy Policy explains how GLHF (Pty) Ltd (“Revisions”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the Revisions web application at app.revisions.co (the “Service”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Information we collect

Account data — name, email, password (hashed), workspace and profile details you provide.
Content you upload — video/image files, comments, annotations, and project information you and your collaborators add.
Usage data — log data such as actions taken, device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps, used to operate and improve the Service.
Payment data — handled by our payment provider Paddle. We receive limited billing details (such as plan, status, and country) but do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your workspace.
To process subscriptions and manage your plan (via Paddle).
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
To improve features, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

Our legal bases (where GDPR applies) include performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating the Service, and legal compliance.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Service providers / sub-processors that help us run the Service — for example cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services) and payment processing (Paddle, our Merchant of Record).
People you invite — collaborators and client reviewers can see the content shared with them in your workspace.
Legal / safety — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Our payment provider may set cookies during checkout. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention is required by law. You can request deletion of your account and associated content.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. 9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “last updated” date; material changes may be notified in the app.
